Chelsea Roberts, born Kelly Roberts is one of the main characters on the Barbie Parodies. She is known to bore her family with many stories she finds interesting.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Chelsea was originally thought to be conceived while Barbie and Ken were watching the O J Simpson car chase, the reason Ken gives for her conception was that Barbie wanted to send her child to the same school Simpsons children went to. In actuality, Chelsea was conceived because Mattel wanted to profit on the boom in the baby doll market. They pitched a new “little sister” and friends to Barbie, and although reluctant at first, Barbie came around when money was in question.
Personality[]
Chelsea is shown to be at times a seemingly innocent child however having to live with Barbie has caused her to inherit some negative traits from Barbie, she at multiple times is shown resemble Barbie in personality, having unresolved anger issues, Barbie herself states that Chelsea is her favourite child although she constantly forgets her name.
she enjoys colouring, pony toys and crayons.
Chelsea is quite skilled in her business making a large amount of money in a short time, she is also skilled in trading stokes.
Future Chelsea[]
There are 3 main versions of Chelsea from the future, the first is presented as having made the same mistake as Barbie of an unexpected pregnancy and is planning to pass it of as another little sister however unlike Barbie she has a much more chipper attitude overall. When Barbie changes the future Chelsea is presented as having turned into a neat copy of Barbie flowing the same carrier and having become an alcoholic. Another version that appears is a socially aware activist.

Barbie admits in a game of truth or dear that Chelsea is her favourite child, she also admits that she does know Chelsea’s name but gets it wrong on purpose, Barbie is shown to get along the best with Chelsea out of her other children, Stacie admits that is because Chelsea idolises Barbie. However like her sister she is mostly fed up with Barbie and her attitude. While not known by Chelsea herself, she was the only planned pregnancy of Barbie.
